Being a self-described stencil addict, I was psyched to see this month’s theme. I love playing with my stencils and finding new ways to get more from them.
This month I am sharing a quick and easy way to pump up your stenciled designs with posca pens. This fun art journal page takes advantage of the convenience of paint pens and the bright array of colors you can find in the Posca line.
I started by laying down a foundation of bright acrylic paint from the Dylusions line.
I chose a really graphic stencil and then applied black dylusions acrylic through the stencil with a mini blending tool.
Then I pulled out my collection of Posca Pens in a variety of colors. I applied the paint throughout the design to create a bold design.
Lastly, I used my black fude ball pen to do some journaling around each circle.
Be sure to play along each month. If you haven’t visited the Mixed UP Classroom before and are interested in subscribing, you can use this affiliate link: https://members.mixedupmag.com/join/mum/23
